The mural consist similar height iris flowers, descending along the house’s façade parallel to the sidewalk, and continues by wrapping around the staircase. The irises are influenced by a Japanese National Treasure created by an Edo period artist, Ogata Korin’s Ukioe print, Kakitsubata Zu (Irises).
